The tariff regulations determine what Ghent Port Company's customers have to pay for the use of all kinds of services. For example for the delivery of drinking water to inland and seagoing vessels, the use of working vessels, the use of the fire-fighting boat, the ro/ro pontoon, vehicles, materials, cable channels and crane rails, the use of port sites and the delivery of ship-generated waste by inland navigation.
The tariff regulations also contain the port dues. Each vessel that moors in the port has to pay the appropriate dues, being maritime dues, inland dues or floating dues. The regulations also stipulate all exemptions to this.
The tariff regulations equally set the cost price for the use of the ENIGMA port information system and for the services within the framework of port security (e.g. the price of a port card for being allowed access to the port area).
